I have had p since I was 19. I am now 51. I have had various creams and lotions but it is only a temporary measure. Sun helps a lot. I have had many people offering to cure it but at a cost. Frankly I dont believe any of it. I think control of it and learning to accept it is probably the best way. The more you get stressed about it (believe you me I have) the worse it can get. Its very annoying but not life threatening and there are worse things you could have. also as I am getting older I find I am less self concious about it. The best thing I have ever found is gamolinic acid which is evening primrose oil. 8 capsules a day makes a huge difference.

i have a friend who have psoriasis and for many long years we cannot find a treatment for her.

I have Pustular Psoriasis on the fingers of my hand. Now i have two boys to take of and i cant do anything i cant even hold a pencil to help my oldest son with his homework or change my youngest diaper let alone bathing bathing myself or my kids because it breaks out sooo bad that my fingers are raw andthe derma tolgist has givin my 2 creams and they seem to work for a little bit but then they just seem to make to it worse and the last time i went to seee him he said that if this cream (he gave me protopic) doesnt work he doesnt know what to do does ANYONE have any ideas or suggestions for me so i can stop feeling so useless and take care of my children like a mother should be able too if you do please feel free to email at vanessrodreque@yahoo.ca

I have had p since I was 6 yrs old. 4 yrs ago I decided I did not want doctors help and would find my own way. Tried lots of different things, the one thing that worked for me was to go on a alkalising diet. I drank only green vegetable juice for 5 days, then spent the next 6 wks eating and drinking vegys. 90% of my food came from vegys. My skin used to get really bad, spots all over the body, I cleared up my skin and was left with only a tiny patch on my elbow and knee. Then I got relaxed and started eating moe acidic foods and p came back again, then went on it again and it cleared, and got relaxed again and it's back, but although diet greatly helps, although hard to stick to, it's not the ultimate answer. I say this because I have been to see a Pranic healer, he had been healing me and told me that my p is the result of an emotion that had been planted when I was 4 and at 6 it was triggered off by an emotional event, he has been working with me and assures me that when the seed is removed then the p will be gone forever. He has given me some instructions such as daily salt baths with tea tree and a few other things. I will be honest, I have had great control over my skin since doing controlling my food, but when the healing started, my skin has gone mental, a healing crisis, my skin is now starting to heal, only time will tel wheather this Pranic healing is for real. i had P for 10 yrs now, it was very small before then i disregarded it. it began to appear all over my body and i am no longer comfortable with it.

the Clobex Shampoo (Clobetasol propionate) worked very effective in my scalp. this is worth Php1,650 or USD35; you can use it in 2 months--even small drop can be effective to produce foamy bubbles. for very serious scalp P, you can use it daily but for maintenance use every other day.

so the SCALp P is now totally gone. next target is my hands. i tried the clobex shampoo in my hands, rub it to produce bubbles/foamy. cover it with plastic overnyt. it worked for just 3 overnight. my P in my hands are gone!

aside from clobex method, i mix 3 tbs of Apple Ciders Vinegar in one glass water. I do this morning and during night time.

now the next challenge is my body... :) but i am happy now cause i can wear t-shirts soon!

I had my psoariasis when I was in second year high school and it get worst when i was in 3rd year b/c it covers all over my body. But now i feel a lil' bit better b/c its only a plaque psoariasis,now im studying in college , and a 2nd year nursing student..Life is so hard with psoariasis..I was really struggling so much dealing with it. It is so sad to know that people hate you b/c you're so"ehw" and your disgusting for them and hated you w/o knowin why. They even avoid you when they meet someone else as if you were not friends. Why is life so unfair?

Hi, my name is Saida. I have psoriasis from grade 9 and now I am 31. I have on my scalp, elbows , legs. I treated with many medicine they all for a while. I know that it will never go away. It`s coming and going. When I was pregnant I didn`t have it. When summer comes I think about that a lot because I like wearing skirts, shorts. But I can`t wear them. I put foundation on psoriasis just to cover it. Because some people don`t understand it. They afraid to come close to you, but it`s not contageous. This is really sad.

Hello everyone. I have suffered from psorraisis for the past 9 years. At its peak about 7 years ago, I underwent Ultra light treatment having tried all dovobet ointment creams and moisturisers etc. The ULT did work but like with everything else was only temporary. It lasted about 7-8 months where all my body (except my knees) was cleared, including my elbows and back. It has now returned but controlled with Dovabase mosturiser. The psorasis on my scalp has now completely gone. PLEASE ALL OF YOU TRY THE FOLLOWING: wash your hair with your normal shampoo (I use head and shoulders) and having done this, dry it and then rub a little bit of Jojoba Oil on your scalp. This has worked for me and I no longer have psorasis on my scalp! This has been true since I began using Jojoba Oil which has been around 9 months. Please try it and let me know. Hi. I have Psoriasis ever since I was in 14 years old. At first I thought it was dermatitis until the flaking and itching got severe. My parents then decided to brought me to the Dermatologist and then the doctor diagnosed me with Psoriasis. I was really shocked, mostly when they told me that there is no treatment for my it. They gave me expensive ointments and medicines. I was starting to have hair fall since it started on my scalp, going down to my face. MY grandmother recommended aloe vera leaf to help my hair grow thicker and she also said that it has healing elements for the skin. It worked on my hair but not necessarily on my scalp.
